What happened to the Roanoke colony? mystery

When a group of 115 English refugees arrived on Roanoke Island off the coast of North Carolina in 1587, Colonial Governor John Waite chose to return to England to replenish supplies.

However, the advent of a big war in Europe stopped him from returning to the colony for three years, and when the conditions were right for him to return, he discovered that all traces of the colony and its inhabitants had vanished, and all that remained was a single large hill and a message. The word "Croatian" is carved into a wooden board.

Researchers and geologists were perplexed as to why they had vanished, because the nature of the land did not indicate the occurrence of any earthquake or storm that could have resulted in their extinction, just as there were no raids by American Indians on this region during that time period in American history.

Scientists came up with a variety of theories to explain their disappearance, including one proposed by quantum physicists, who interpreted their departure as a break in the fabric of time through which they passed. Justifying this is the accident of the American mechanic, who vanished from his garage and was replaced with a car, modern extensions, and a newspaper conveying a different time, only to return to find everything had reverted to normal.

Including the interpretation of dishes and alien specialists who claimed to have witnessed a mass kidnapping by aliens and criticised the disappearance's explanation. The disappearance of the residents of the Roanoke colony will remain a mystery that no one knows about.
